Our blog has moved to homeschoolden.com. This is the older version of our blog... which shared the homeschooling adventures of our kids who were 8 (LD), 6 (DD) and 3 1/2 (ED) (and the years up until then!). If you are looking for all our science and history packets (and math/language arts/etc!!) -- you'll find them at our new home! homeschoolden.com

Outback Roadhouse
This is pretty typical of the petrol stations you'll find in
central Australia... not a town, but just a few buildings
and then nothing again for a LOoooong time!
Hi! We're fellow homeschoolers who also lived in Alice Springs for 3 years. We, too, drove down to South Australia once (we even went so far as to take the ferry to Kangaroo Island) and I totally remember this roadhouse! LOL It was such an amazing experience. Loved looking at your pictures. :)
How funny! When were you here? We've been here 12 years now. If you were here in this span, chances are that we have some friends in common (I've known lots of the homeschoolers here in town, though most have moved on now)!
Sorry I'm just getting back to you now! I think Kristin is the one who told me about your blog. We were there 2003 - 2006. We were in the early stages of homeschooling when we were there because our oldest was just starting school.
