Our blog has moved to homeschoolden.com. This is the older version of our blog... which shared the homeschooling adventures of our kids who were 8 (LD), 6 (DD) and 3 1/2 (ED) (and the years up until then!). If you are looking for all our science and history packets (and math/language arts/etc!!) -- you'll find them at our new home! homeschoolden.com

Theme Time: Monsters and Dragons
We read every book on the table this time! The
big hit was the monster bowling game (from
Auntie G and Uncle S) and the board game,
Adventures in Neopia which we hadn't played
for a while. It is such a great board game it
was worth a picture on its own (last pic). It
consists of 7 mini games that you play on your
way to earning lots of money. Mini games include:
shooting an arrow onto a target, rolling a dice, picking
a treasure from the treasure box, flicking the
spinner, flicking a snowball at the snowmen to
knock them down, etc. The kids love this fast
paced board game (thanks Auntie C!)
