Our blog has moved to homeschoolden.com. This is the older version of our blog... which shared the homeschooling adventures of our kids who were 8 (LD), 6 (DD) and 3 1/2 (ED) (and the years up until then!). If you are looking for all our science and history packets (and math/language arts/etc!!) -- you'll find them at our new home! homeschoolden.com

The Real Preschool Day (cont.)
Several times a day, DD sits down to draw, make cards
and "practice writing." She does this when LD writes in
his journal or practices his handwriting. I never suggest
any of this, she chooses to do this on her own. Stickers,
crayons, paper, glue and sequins are always out and
available. (That means that the dining room table is
pretty much always covered with "stuff.")
She and LD both enjoy arts and crafts and we almost
always have some sort of project going on (today
for example, she made a pom-pom bat and a
little wooden staircase for the mushroom playhouse
I talked about above.)
